BROWNING.COM 3 INFLEX II RECOIL PAD The Inflex II recoil pad uses directional deflection to send the comb down and away from the face, reducing felt recoil for greater shooting comfort and allowing faster, more accurate follow-up shots. The Inflex II pad is made from a soft material for the best recoil absorbing performance available. HAMMERS AND HAMMER EJECTORS Citori hammers are driven by powerful coil mainsprings. Ejectors are activated by a sharp hammer blow for more positive ejection than the push imparted by competitors’ ejectors. Fired hulls are ejected when the breech is opened and unfired shells are elevated for easy removal. INERTIA TRIGGER The inertia-style trigger uses recoil from the first shot to set the hammer for the next shot. THREE POSITION TRIGGER Featured on target models, the adjustable Three Position Trigger allows the trigger shoe to be set in one of three positions to fine-tune finger-to-trigger reach. One trigger shoe is included. POINT OF IMPACT A big part of what makes the Citori shotgun line so versatile are the different points of impact (POI) on different models. The flat 50/50 POI is preferred when a target presentation can come from any direction, like a target soaring in from overhead on a sporting clays course or a pheasant erupting from the brush. The versatile 60/40 POI is great for all clay target sports and hunting as it allows the shooter to float the target slightly to improve the sight picture. Shotguns with a 70/30 POI are more suited to trap, where the higher POI allows a rising target to be visible when the trigger is pulled. INTERCHANGEABLE CHOKE TUBES 12 and 20 gauge models receive the Invector-Plus Interchangeable Choke Tube System and 28 gauge and .410 bore models benefit from the Standard Invector system. PRECISION BARRELS Browning barrels optimize shot performance and emphasize durability. A CITORI WEARS IN, NOT OUT The Citori features a stronger and longer lasting full-width hinge pin that pivots on significantly more bearing surface area than the trunnion systems in competitors’ guns. The Citori also uses a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt and monoblock recess for maximum strength and longevity. This design also self-adjusts for wear to keep receiver lock-up tight year after year. CHROME CHAMBERS All Citori shotguns feature chrome chambers for increased durability, corrosion resistance, and easier cleaning. RECEIVER MATERIALS Most Citori receivers are machined from steel and feature a durable silver nitride finish that offers improved wear resistance, increased fatigue strength, and added protection against corrosion. Citori Feather models feature a high quality alloy for the receiver that reduces weight and is reinforced with steel components at high wear areas for added durability. Feather models have a tough electroless nickel finish. CITORI Common Features
